    The use of artificial intelligence, or AI, is being explored in many different industries, and Africa, like the rest of the world, stands to benefit from its uses, one of which is to improve interactions between companies and their clients or users of systems. Schalk Burger tells us more.

    Schalk Burger:

    The applications of AI are being explored in healthcare, industries, farming, law, education, finances and to monitor and improve sustainability, among others. The use of AI brings hope that Africa can solve some of its most pressing challenges, and also presents new prospects and possibilities.

    AI can also lead to improvements in people's daily lives. Lelapa AI is using AI to develop language models for companies to enable them to interact with customers in their native language.

    Lelapa AI CEO Pelonomi Moiloa discusses the company's use of AI to translate customer interactions into various languages to improve interactions between users and companies' employees.
